A man arrested in Cottonwood in February for furnishing harmful materials to a minor, has been charged with another crime involving a 14-year old female victim. Cottonwood Police Sgt. Monica Kuhlt says the suspect in the case is 28-year old Joshua Hillyard. The investigation revealed that around the same time frame Hillyard was sending inappropriate pictures to a 16-year old female he allegedly fondled the breasts of a 14-year old female. Although the incident involving the 14-year old may have occurred first, it wasn’t reported until after Hillyard was arrested in February of this year. Wednesday, Hillyard was charged with 1-count of sexual abuse of a minor; he remains in custody at the Camp Verde Jail.
