The Yavapai County Camp Verde Transfer Station on Highway-260 has been reopened. The station was closed last week due to the Mulch Fire, which continues to smolder. The station is operating under its regular hours. County officials say they’re accepting household trash and tires only; slash and appliances won’t be taken until the fire is out. Coconino National Forest crews are handling the fire.
