Coconino National Forest fire crews responded to the Mulch Fire north of Camp Verde late Wednesday afternoon. The fire was burning in a green landfill and had charred 1-acre. Firefighters were on scene with additional resources arriving today. Officials say the fire will put up considerable smoke and may impact Highway-260.
