YCSO is asking for the public’s help in a “Cold Case” that goes back to 2009. Spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says the female remains were found on March 9-th, 2019, in a wash near Copper Basin Road and Iron Springs Road in Skull Valley. Published efforts over the years seeking help to identify the remains have been unsuccessful. The latest effort involves sharing a forensic facial reconstruction that was provided by the Yavapai County Medical Examiner’s Office. If you have information, call YCSO or Yavapai Silent Witness.
