Residents age 16-to-24 are invited to attend the Young Adult Career and Job Fair on May 1st at the Yavapai Juvenile Justice Center Lawn Area on Prescott Lakes Parkway in Prescott from 3 to 6 p.m. Attendees will learn about the latest information about careers; be able to apply for full-time, part-time, temporary and summer jobs; and meet with representatives from business, healthcare, and non-profit organizations. Professional attire is strongly recommended. Those who plan to attend the job fair should attend the Young Adult Job Fair Preparation Class on Monday, from 3-5 p.m. at the Launch Pad Teen Center on Grove Street in Prescott. The class will provide attendees with job fair tips, guidelines for drafting resumes, address interviewing skills, and cover job search strategies. The class is free of charge.
