Spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says tipsters can deliver their tip the traditional way by calling 1-800-932-3232, go to www.p3tips.com/979, or they can download the P3 app to their mobile devices and send tips from their phone. The system also allows the tipster to send photos, videos or audio files along with their tips if they choose. The advantage of the web app and the mobile app is that the administrator can ask questions of the tipster online to clarify the tip. Tipsters can also update tips at any time within the system. And as always, tipsters will remain anonymous. Information that leads to a felony arrest is eligible for a cash reward.
