Monday afternoon, Prescott Valley Police responded to an accident involving a vehicle backing into a house. Spokesman James Rising says officers arrived to find the car driven by 18-year old Daphne Brown backed into a house in the 4400 block of North Sheridan Lane. Daphne Brown showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol and was transported to Yavapai Regional Medical Center; a Portable Breath Test showed Brown’s blood alcohol level to be extreme.) Also in the vehicle was 49-year old Erlinda Bristow, who was also intoxicated. No major injuries were reported. Brown was charged with DUI and criminal damage and Bristow was charged with furnishing alcohol to an underage person.
