Saturday, from 9-to-12, Verde Valley Fire and Cottonwood Fire are holding a car seat inspection and installation clinic at the Cottonwood Public Safety Building on South 6th Street in the Firehouse. Car seats will be provided for parents and guardians in need through an Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety grant. Children requiring seats must be present. Fire officials say if you can’t make the clinic, call your local fire station and ask about free car seats and drop in inspections.
