2 killed in I-17 crash Saturday night

Two people were killed in a single vehicle crash on northbound I-17 Saturday night. DPS says for unknown reasons the vehicle driven by 44-year old Charity Dorsey of Phoenix left the interstate and rolled in the median. Officials say the crash occurred near the exit to Crown King. DPS says despite wearing seatbelts, Dorsey and her front seat passenger were partially ejected from the vehicle. A second passenger in the back seat suffered serious injuries and was flown to a Phoenix area hospital. Alcohol containers and drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle. The name of the second woman killed in the crash was not released.
