The Sedona Parks and Recreation Department needs lifeguards. Officials say staff members are working to expand from opening the pool three days a week to five. But there’s a problem: not enough lifeguards to staff the facility. In advance of the 2019 swim season, the Department is offering multiple lifeguard certification courses and is taking applications with hopes of filling staffing needs.
