Wednesday and Thursday, the Sedona Fire District will be hosting Active Shooter Hostile Emergency Response training. Fire Marshal Jon Davis says more than 70 attendees will participate in the training which will be held at Sedona Fire District Station 1 and Big Park School. This training is for first responders who may be called upon to deal with these types of incidents. Davis says exercises such as this offers fire and police units the opportunity to train together prior to an event. He says the training will consist of practical instruction and scenarios.
