DPS is investigating a crash that killed 6-people Saturday evening on Highway-89 near Cameron. Officials say this was a 2-vehicle crash. A maroon Kia passenger car collided head on with a black Hyundai passenger car. There were 2-fatalities in the Kia and 4 in the Hyundai. Officials say the investigation is still on going and troopers are still in the process of completing next of kin notifications. The highway was closed from shortly after 5-pm until just before midnight. When further details become available, we’ll pass them along.
