Suspect in Prescott convenience store armed robbery arrested.

The suspect in the Saturday morning armed robbery of a convenience store in Prescott has been arrested. Prescott Police Lead Officer Dave Fuller says Sunday morning, officers responded to the 200 block of South Pleasant Street in reference to a suspicious vehicle. A concerned citizen believed that the vehicle was the same make and model as the one involved in this recent armed robbery. Additionally, the car smelled like fresh spray paint and appeared to be very poorly painted in a haphazard fashion. Information developed during the subsequent investigation led officers and investigators to believe that this was in fact the suspect vehicle that was being sought in connection with this crime. Evidence gathered at that scene and others identified Patrick Pruitt, a 22 year old Prescott resident as a person of interest. He was later located in a home in the 200 block of S. Pleasant Street. Pruitt was taken into custody without incident at the home. Additional evidence located tied him to the armed robbery. 24-year old Saeti Tobin, of New Hampshire, was also taken into custody for a local warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were booked into the Yavapai County Jail for various charges.
