Cottonwood Police are looking for suspects responsible for music store burglary over the weekend.

Cottonwood Police are looking for suspects responsible for a burglary over the weekend. Sgt. Monica Kuhlt says sometime after 4 pm Saturday and 2 pm on Sunday, an unknown suspect or suspects burglarized Verde Valley Discount Music store taking over 7-thousand dollars in music equipment. The suspect(s) gained entry into the store by breaking out a window. Once inside they broke a display case and stole 2 guitars and a saxophone. The suspect(s) stole a 1968 Les Paul guitar valued at$6,000.00, a Screaming Skull guitar valued at $850.00 and an Alto Sax Vito valued at $500.00. The business was alarmed but the alarm company didn’t receive any alarm notifications until after the officers entered the building the day the burglary was discovered. Kuhlt says all of the music equipment has serial numbers which have been entered into the national database as stolen. She says currently, they have no leads. Anyone with information is urged to call Cottonwood Police.
