Chukar Cherries is recalling its Ultra Dark Chocolate products because they contain undeclared milk. People who have a milk allergy or severe sensitivity should not eat these products as they run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they do. This product is sold at Costco, Walmart, Target, high-end chocolatiers, through Amazon or directly from Chukar. The company states the problem stems from the ultra-dark chocolate containing milk chocolate was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of milk. There recalled products are the Ultra Dark Chocolate Black Forest Cherries and Cocoa Pecan Cherries as well as the Organic Ultra Dark Vanilla Chocolate Rainier Cherries and Orange Chocolate Tart Cherries. The company has since revised it’s labels.
