Tuesday, the Camp Verde and Montezuma-Rimrock fire boards voted unanimously to merge the two fire districts into one. Officials say when the Montezuma-Rimrock Fire District merges with the Camp Verde Fire District, it will dissolve the Copper Canyon Fire and Medical Authority and create the Copper Canyon Fire and Medical District.
