Fire managers on the Verde Ranger District are planning to burn Monday through Friday of next week, pending favorable weather conditions. Crews plan a 150 acre broadcast burn on Mingus Mountain located south and west of the junction of Forest Road 104 and Forest Road 413. Fire managers say they will make every effort to minimize smoke impacts to nearby communities. Drivers should be prepared for possible delays on roads adjacent to the burn area.
