Robert Pearsall wanted for brutal attack at a campsite near Drake

YCSO is looking for a man wanted for assault with a deadly weapon. Spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says last Saturday night, 41-year old Robert Pearsall attacked another man at a campsite along the Verde River near Drake. A 45-year-old male victim was approached by Pearsall who, in an unprovoked manner and without warning, struck the victim about the head, face, and chest multiple times with a hardened piece of wood. The strikes caused severe swelling, laceration and blood loss to the head and face of the victim. The blows were hard enough to break and splinter the wood used by Pearsall in the assault. D’Evelyn says the victim was taken to FMC where he continues to go through treatment for severe injuries. A $50,000 warrant charging aggravated assault with a deadly weapon has been issued for Pearsall. He’s a 41-year old white male, 5-11, 160-pounds; he’s bald, but otherwise has blond hair; he has green eyes and lives in Prescott.
