Early this morning Cottonwood Police issued a Silver Alert for 76-year old Stephen Simpson of Cottonwood. The alert was cancelled shortly before 11 am after Simpson was located safe and in good condition. Simpson walked away from his home in the area of East Godard Road and Highway-260 this morning at around 6-am. He suffers from Alzheimer and other medical issues. Details surrounding his disappearance have not been released.
