Suspects steal guns and then shoot guns at Prescott Valley Park

Prescott Valley Police responded to a shots fired call at Fain Park Wednesday morning. Spokesman Jerry Ferguson says witnesses gave a description of the vehicle fleeing the area and a traffic stop followed. He says contact was made with 18-year old Franky Lopez, 18-year old Trinity Trunick and a 16-year old male. The investigation revealed that Lopez, Trunick, and the 16-year- old male had been shooting guns while at Fain Park. A Smith and Wesson, 38 Special was recovered from the vehicle. He says soon after they learned that the handgun and an AR-15 had been stolen from the garage of a home; the rifle has not yet been recovered. In addition, a resident of the Stoneridge Community called police to report their house had been shot. If you have information on the missing AR-15, contact police.
