This morning, Sedona Fire crews responded to a report of smoke in a residence in the Village of Oak Creek. Fire Marshal John Davis says a resident of a duplex on Quail Court called 9-1-1 saying their home was filling with smoke from an unknown source. Davis says crews discovered that the neighbor had left food cooking on their stove that was burning, producing the smoke that somehow vented into the residence next door. No damages or injuries were reported. Residents are reminded to never leave anything unattended on the stove.
