The city of Flagstaff and NAU are teaming up for a “Community Welcome” event to connect NAU students and Flagstaff residents living near campus. Monday, August 27th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., small teams of volunteers will go door-to-door in the neighborhoods surrounding the NAU campus to talk with residents and students. The volunteer teams, which will include the Flagstaff and NAU police departments, City and NAU staff, students, and community members, will also distribute information regarding trash and recycling service, nuisance noise and party regulations, residential parking, snow and ice removal, and winter parking restrictions.
