The last of the fire restrictions have been lifted. As of Monday afternoon, all fire restrictions on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests have been lifted. There are now currently no fire restrictions in effect in the cities, counties and National Forests in Northern Arizona. Though, Grand Canyon National Park is always in at least Stage I. Officials say even though the fire restrictions are no longer in effect, the public is still responsible to make sure campfires are dead out if left unattended.
