Verde Valley Fire chief Nazih Hazime says they responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident Saturday on Highway 260 and Western Drive. Hazime says crews arrived to find one person who had sustained life threatening injuries and transferred the seriously injured pedestrian to VVMC for treatment. No further information has been released.
