The Arizona Elk Society, in cooperation with the Coconino National Forest and Game and Fish, is seeking 150 volunteers to help finish one of the largest volunteer wildlife projects in the state. The project, known as Long Valley Riparian Meadow is near Clint’s Well, just north of Payson. Volunteers are need on May 19th and 20th to help assist in projects such as tree trimming, rock structure building, stream channel shaping and log fence construction.
