Sunday morning, the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office responded to the area of East Skyline Drive and Citrus Way for a report of deceased female on the riverbed of West Clear Creek. Upon arrival, Deputies and Copper Canyon Fire confirmed the female to be deceased. The woman has been identified as Kimberly Joy Vargo of Camp Verde. At this time, foul play does not appear to be a factor in her death. The Yavapai County Medical Examiner is working on cause of death.
