3/10 Friday night, the YCSO Forest Patrol Deputy and the 4×4 Volunteer Search and Rescue teams responded to and helped rescue several stranded drivers on Drake Road, which was closed by the county last week due to the wet and muddy conditions. The drivers were attempting to bypass the closure of I-40, but became stuck in the snow. YCSO says this is an ongoing issue during snowstorms when I-40 is closed.
