2/17 There was a fatal officer involved shooting near Prescott Sunday. YCSO says at 2-pm, deputies responded to a location on Senator Highway on a report of gunshots. Deputies made contact with a man in his 30’s. Officials say the deputies felt their lives were being threatened at which time they shot and killed the suspect. They believe the suspect was the person doing the shooting. No deputies were injured and no other details have been released. DPS is handling the investigation.
