1/13 January 5-th, the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary alarm at a home in the 4600-block of South 24-th Street in Show Low.Deputies arrived to find a window broken and security cameras had been tampered with. During this initial contact, a vehicle was seen speeding away from the area. Show Low Police pursued the vehicle until it crashed. The driver, 27-year-old Oscar Amador of Show Low was arrested. On his possession they found items consistent with committing the burglary; he was also DUI. During the investigation, deputies learned the same house had been burglarized in May, 2025 using the same broken window, and Amador was involved. Approximately $3,500 worth of property was taken during that burglary, including children’s toys, gaming systems, and televisions. Amador now faces additional charges related to the 2025 burglary, including second-degree burglary, criminal damage, and felony theft.
