6/05 The National Weather Service in Flagstaff issued a Red Flag Warning for the Kaibab Plateau, Grand Canyon and the Coconino Plateau for Saturday and a Fire Weather Watch for much of the state on Sunday. Forecasters say we can expect southwest winds of 15-to-25-mph with gusts up to 40-mph. Relative humidity will be between 9-and-16%. Any fires that start have the potential to spread rapidly. Highs today will range from the upper 80’s in Flagstaff to the low 90’s in the Quad-City area; the mid to upper 90’s in Sedona and the Verde Valley.
