2/17 Prescott Valley Police are investigating a trespassing incident that occurred in the early morning hours last Thursday at the Town’s Summit-1 Water Tank on Glassford Hill Road. Security cameras captured 2-individuals acting suspiciously inside the fence at the water tank. This triggered an alarm, alerting town staff who in turn called police. Although it appears nothing was disturbed, the water tank was isolated from the rest of the system due to the potential for water contamination. The 1-million-gallon tank is now being drained and sanitized before it’s refilled. All other town water tanks and well sites were also inspected. If you have any information on the trespassers, contact Prescott Valley Police or Yavapai Silent Witness.
