9/7 Chino Valley Police required the help of YCSO and the SWAT team to arrest a domestic violence suspect threatening people with a gun. Officers respond to a home on Porcupine Pass on a report a woman was pointing a handgun at other family members. As officers arrived, the female suspect refused to surrender and barricaded herself in the home. After negotiations failed to get her to surrender, less lethal force and a K9 were used to take the woman into custody. The suspect was taken to a Phoenix area hospital for a medical evaluation.
