2/17 A new utility infrastructure improvement project begins today in Prescott. City officials say Technology Construction, will begin staging for the removal of the two, 200,000-gallon water storage tanks on the hillside above Douglas Avenue. The tanks will be replaced with one tank that has 750,000-gallons of water storage capacity. Additional work includes replacing the existing Mingus Pump Station and upsizing the water pipe between the pump station and new tank, and along Douglas Avenue to Northside Drive. The entire project should be finished by early next year.
