9/23 A person was arrested on charges of arson following a structure fire in Cottonwood Tuesday morning. Cottonwood Fire and Police responded to the fire in the area of North 15-th Street and East Apache Street. Officers noticed Rodin McLeod watching and questioned him. He admitted to police that he intentionally set the fire to watch it burn. Evidence was found that corroborated McLeod’s claim of starting the fire. No injuries were reported. The Red Cross also responded to help people impacted by the fire.
