9/23 Flagstaff Fire responded to a HAZMAT call at the Purina Plant Tuesday. Crews found a chemical leak after a few people in the plant complained of feeling ill. The investigation determined 2-chemicals were mixed that were not supposed be and caused corrosion to a distribution line. About 10-gallons of the chemical spilled on the ground and firefighters were able to safely clean it up.
