1/22 Prescott National Forest is planning a large pile burn on Mingus Mountain, within the Verde Ranger District. Fire Managers hope to ignite the piles next Wednesday, weather permitting. The entire burn operation should take a few days to complete. Some 72-acres of piles are scheduled for burning. Smoke will be visible in the Verde Valley, along Highway-89A and Prescott Valley.
