5/19 Flagstaff Police arrested a man they believe is responsible for setting several recent wildland fires. Police and fire responded to a fire last Thursday near JW Powell Boulevard and I-17. Witnesses reported that Raymond Glover Jr. was in the area and at one point admitted to a patron at a nearby gas station that he was the one that set the fire. Officials believe Glover is also responsible for a second fire in the same area last Thursday as well as a fire last Wednesday night in the area of McConnell Drive. Glover is charged with reckless burning.
