1/15 Tuesday, Flagstaff Fire responded to a report of a frozen sprinkler system that was flooding a condo. Arriving crews found that the overnight cold weather caused the sprinkler system pipes to freeze and burst, releasing large amounts of water into multiple units. Crews utilized tarps, ladders and pike poles to construct a water chute in order to reduce the amount of water damage occurring to the structure and the occupant’s belongings. No other details were released.
