9/14 Saturday, Navajo County Sheriff’s Deputies were conducting a traffic enforcement detail on Highway-60, near Show Low, when a motorist stopped near them to report a driver had just about run them off the road and now the driver was parked on the side of the road. Deputies located the driver and noticed signs of drug impairment. A search of the vehicle located dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia. The driver was charged with DUI drugs and taken into custody. During the stop, deputies noticed numerous drivers that did not follow the state’s “Move Over Law”. The public is reminded to move over or slow down while passing a vehicle with flashing lights along the roadway.
