The Cottonwood Police Department is participating in the statewide Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Tuesday. Sergeant Monica Kuhlt says officers will take the torch from Sedona Police Department at ACME Pizza at about 11:15 AM. From there Cottonwood will run the torch to Walmart, then hand it off to Camp Verde Marshal’s Office. The Law Enforcement Torch Run raises awareness and financial support for Special Olympics statewide.
