3/31 The Greater Flagstaff Forests Partnership, Coconino County and local fire departments and districts, have been putting together a “A Community Wildfire Protection Plan for Rural Fire Districts and Tribal Communities in Coconino County. Public review is underway and comments are being taken on the plan. County officials say Flagstaff residents do not need to comment on this plan due to the City of Flagstaff developing their own. Comments are due by April 17-th. The draft CWPP will be available for review and comment starting on March 30, 2026. To access the draft CWPP and participate in the review process, interested parties can visit https://cwpp-coconinocounty.hub.arcgis.com to view the plan and complete a comment form with your suggestions and thoughts
