9/15 Coconino National Forest officials say the closure order put in place in Oak Creek, north of Sedona, will be lifted this Thursday. Nearly all recreational sites in the canyon will reopen to the public. The only area that will remain closed is the popular West Fork. West Fork Trail and Call of the Canyon will remain closed until October 1-st. All closures were put in place due to this year’s Pocket Fire.
