3/30 Friday night, Verde Valley Fire responded to a single vehicle crash in the area of East Peila Avenue and South Verde Drive. Shortly after crews arrived, the vehicle caught fire. Firefighters quickly doused the flames and kept them from spreading to the brush and nearby house. There was no word on what led up to the crash.
