8/25 The Arizona Department of Forestry says the Campwood Fire, burning 5-miles northeast of Bagdad, was started by lightning Sunday. Windy conditions on Monday pushed the fire to the north, south and east. Firefighters are out ahead of the fire creating containment lines. Crews also worked to improve structure protection on Wildhorse Ranch, which sits in the fire’s path. The blaze has burned an estimated 100-acres and is 0% contained. A flyover will be conducted today for mapping purposes. Roughly 85-personnel are assigned to the remote fire.
