The Arizona Animal Control Association has announced Angela Olander, from the Chino Valley Police Department Animal Control Division, as the Arizona Animal Control Officer of the Year. Olander has been with the department since 2015. Officials say her level of dedication to animal safety was noticed not just in Chino Valley but statewide as she won the award, beating out Animal Control Officers from all over the state.
