1/12 Navajo Police recently responded to a call of a woman who drove her vehicle off the roadway and then fell in to a ravine. Officials say the incident occurred on Highway-160 near Old Kerley Road. After the woman crashed, she exited the vehicle. As she was exiting the vehicle, she lost her footing and fell some 50-feet to the bottom of the ravine. Rescue personnel made their way down to the woman and pulled her back up to safety. She was then taken to the Tuba City Regional Health Care Center to be treated for her injuries. Officials say the woman was DUI at the time of the crash.
