Prescott National Forest Fire Managers on the Bradshaw Ranger District will be conducting over 4000 acres of prescribed fire activities in the Prescott Basin from now through March. The prescribed burns are in priority areas that have been identified to either reduce the hazardous fuels or to maintain the natural interval for fire. Burns are subject to weather conditions. Smoke impacts are expected to occur in areas in and around Prescott and Prescott Valley.
