Whippoorwill man sentenced to 2.5 years in prison on child sex charge conviction

A Whippoorwill man was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to sexual abuse of a minor. The FBI says 36-year old Calvert Baker was sentenced in federal court in Phoenix. After prison, Baker will be on 15-years of supervised release. In 2014, when Baker was 31-years old, he engaged in multiple sexual acts with a juvenile female victim. The investigation was conducted by the FBI and Navajo Nation Department of Public Safety. Whippoorwill is located near Pinon in northeastern Arizona.
