Early Friday morning, YCSO deputies were dispatched to a business alarm activation at the Corral Market on West Lewis Avenue in Ash Fork. Spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says upon arrival, deputies found an open window and after checking the store for suspects, found none. He says an employee arrived, noticed the cash register drawer had been removed and set on the counter, and confirmed the theft of several vendor checks and lottery tickets from the register. After reviewing security video, a suspect was seen in the store behind the counter just before 1 AM and the alarm notification. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office or Yavapai Silent Witness.
