1/10 Tonto National Forest will hold a public meeting tonight at 6 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints in Payson. Further containment is being reported on the human caused fire that’s been burning since mid-December; 55% contained at 8,337-acres. The acreage has not grown in the past couple of days. Christopher Creek, Hunter Creek, R-C Scout Camp and Kohls Ranch remain in “SET” status.
